Welcome

Two squadrons. One flight line. Together again.

The Buzzards and the Triple Nickel have shared the ramp at Aviano since 1994, and both squadrons' stories go back to World War II. Pilots, crew chiefs, weapons loaders, intel, life support, and everyone who kept the jets flying. In April 2027 we're getting everyone back together in Aviano.

Whether you served in Vietnam or last year, flew or fixed, you're invited, and so are your guests.

Getting there

Check your passport now. Renewals can take months. Make sure it won't expire before summer 2027.

Flights: Venice (VCE) and Treviso (TSF) are the closest airports, about an hour's drive from Aviano.

Entry rules: we'll post current requirements for U.S. travelers to Italy closer to the date.

Who can come?
Anyone who served in or with the 510th or 555th, at any time, plus spouses, family and guests.
Do I have to pay now?
No. Signing up just tells us you're interested. We'll send detailed updates by email as plans come together, including cost and deposit information once it's set.
Will other people see that I signed up?
No. Only the organizers see sign-ups. We never publish who's coming.
I'm not sure I can make it yet.
